It's been a successful season for Trevor Bauer after landing a deal with the Diablos Rojos del México in the Mexican League. The 33-year-old has been busy re-establishing his value across professional baseball, racking up a number of impressive performances, as well as trying to find a way back to the MLB.

One of the ways that Trevor Bauer has been repairing his reputation has been by remaining active on social media. The former Cy Young Award winner has continued posting some of his highlights from his Mexican League performances. It's not only that, but Bauer has been showing off his fiery personality and competitiveness on the mound during starts.

In his most recent post, Bauer can be seen talking to himself on the mound and determining his plan of attack. At the beginning of the video, Bauer can be seen talking to himself.

"Now get ahead in the f***ing count," he said, stressing the importance of not falling behind the batter.

Things did not go according to plan for the former Cincinnati Reds star as he struggled with his control during the at-bat. After falling behind 2-1, Bauer tells himself:

"Spraying ball everywhere, c'mon!"

As the battle continued, the former All-Star fell behind 3-1 before working a full count.

"Do it again, make him hit it," he said to himself before racking up an strikeout with a 94 mph fastball on the side of the strikezone.

The strikeout that Bauer highlighted in the video is just one of many that he has racked up this year in Mexico. Bauer has recorded an impressive 120 strikeouts over 83.1 innings of work, including a league-record 19 strikeouts in one outing, leading to a Mexican League All-Star selection.

Trevor Bauer is yet to receive a contract offer despite a demand for starting pitching across the MLB

Trevor Bauer has not pitched in the majors since 2021 after sexual assault allegations were made against him, which led to a lengthy suspension from the MLB. Following the suspension, Bauer was released by the Los Angeles Dodgers and has been looking for another shot in the league.

Since his release, Bauer has been cleared of any criminal wrongdoing in relation to the allegations that were made against him.. That being said, he has been unable to secure a new contract with any MLB team, which has raised eyebrows among some fans who feel that Bauer deserves another shot in the majors.

There is a glaring need for starting pitching across the MLB, especially after a number of top stars such as Spencer Strider and Shane Bieber have suffered brutal season-ending injuries. While injuries can happen at any moment, especially with pitchers, it would make sense that teams would look at Bauer as a potential piece for a postseason run.

Even though Trevor Bauer has been a force in the Mexican League this year, has not recieved any criminal charges and has a proven MLB experience, Bauer hasn't still been offered a deal. At this point, it remains unclear if he will ever pitch in the majors again regardless of what he accomplishes in various leagues.
