Amid injury concerns, Corey Seager and his wife Madisyn decided to lighten the mood with a late-night date. Madisyn posted a glimpse of the delicious date menu on her Instagram story with a captain saying:
“Off day date night” - @madyseager.
Madisyn also shared a second serving of wagyu dumplings at Shinsei Restaurant, followed by a vegan strawberry shortcake ice cream from Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, which she described as the “best” she ever had.
On Wednesday, Corey Seager left the Texas Rangers' final game against the Detroit Tigers at Globe Life Field early due to a potential left hamstring injury. Ezequiel Duran replaced Seager in the second inning after he helped the team take a 1-0 lead with an RBI single. The Rangers won the game 9-1, avoiding a sweep and bringing their season record to 30-32.
The reigning World Series champions have not provided any updates on Seager's condition yet while the injury concerns are deepening. A probable injury absence looms for Seager for the first time this season after his delayed start because of sports hernia surgery in January.
The Rangers All-Star has played 57 games so far, scoring 30 RBIs, 29 runs and 13 home runs. He has a slash line of .271/.360/.472 while maintaining a .832 OPS.
Corey Seager and wife Madisyn's trip to Miami Beach
During the Texas Rangers' road series against the Miami Marlins at LoanDepot Park, the Seager couple decided to relax with a trip to Miami Beach. Madisyn shared some moments from the trip on her Instagram story, including a photo of the couple enjoying morning coffee.
"Could do a morning coffee walk on the beach every dayyy" - @madyseager
She also posted memories of their day off on a yacht with Corey's teammates and their families, writing:
"Thank you Miami for the best Rangers fam trip."
The couple began dating in 2015. Corey proposed to Madisyn at a New England Patriots football game in December 2019. A year later, on Dec. 5, 2020, they exchanged vows and have been happily married.
