Will Smith's wife Cara likes to cherish fellow mothers with special deliveries, reminding them how special they are. Joe Kelly's wife Ashley was the latest recipient.
Kelly played for the LA Dodgers from 2023 to 2024. There, he and his wife Ashley built a strong bond with catcher Smith and his wife Cara. Both are mothers. Ashley has four children: Knox, Blake, Crue and Kai, while Cara is a mother to two daughters: Charlotte and Layton.
On Friday, Ashley received a special donut delivery from Cara for her kids to enjoy. Snapping her kids and thanking Cara, Ashley wrote:
"Had the best morning surprise from our girl with one of the biggest hearts that I know! If someone is reminding you that you're a badass mom/ person/etc with a donut delivery...keep em close & take the compliment! From one BAM to another BAM (Badass Mama), we love you @caramartinellsmith."
Resharing Ashley's post, Cara gave props to Ashley.
"Moms need reminders that they are amazing... Reply to caramartinellsmith incredible. love my Kelly fam," she wrote.
Will Smith's wife Cara get made a customize bracelet with the name of her newborn daughter
Layton Elizabeth's arrival to the Smith family came with happiness. That's because the LA Dodgers catcher signed a 10-year, $140 million extension, making him a Dodger for life.
He went on to be the everyday catcher for the Dodgers who won the World Series in October. They beat the Yankees in five games to lift their eighth Fall Classic title.
On Friday, Cara posted a photo, showing off her custom bracelet, with her newborn daughter's "Layton" name on it. The bracelet was from Bead It By Marlee, a tarnish-free and water-resistant personalized beaded jewelry founded by Marlee Pinsky.
Will Smith and family are looking forward to a relaxed offseason. Signed for the next 10 years, the catcher no longer needs to worry about contracts.
With the Dodgers stacked with big names, he may see more World Series triumphs in the near future.
