Luis Arraez is a two-time All-Star infielder who finished the 2024 season with the San Diego Padres. Arraez married fellow Venezuelan Gladys Penalver De Arraez in 2015. Gladys currently spends her time as a stay-at-home mom but also does modeling on the side.

The MLB season is long, but there is also a pretty good offseason in which players are able to spend time with their families. Luis Arraez and his wife Gladys spent the last week in France, and Gladys shared some of the highlights of their trip on her Instagram.

Luis Arraez was in many of the photos that were shared, but Gladys also showed off some of the biggest landmarks in Paris. Arraez was one of many to comment on the photos that were shared.

With both Luis and Gladys hailing from Venezuela, it was also where they first met and developed a relationship. After 10 years of marriage, Gladys will continue to support Luis in San Diego during the 2025 season. Otherwise, the couple could be taking up residence in another city if a trade goes through.

Luis has consistently been one of the best hitters in the National League, but that hasn't led to a ton of postseason success. The Padres were hoping that he was the missing link in 2024, but they were unable to get past the Los Angeles Dodgers. His name continues to pop up in trade rumors this offseason as the Padres are looking to get rid of some payroll.
