Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne earns a 3-word compliment from her mother Katherine for graduating from LSU

Paul Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, earned a heartfelt compliment from her mother, Katherine Dunne, after graduating from Louisiana State University on Thursday. Dunne, who enrolled at LSU in 2020, got her undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary studies.

Dunne's parents have been highly supportive of her gymnastics career and even homeschooled her so she could practice. Katherine shared an image of Livvy on social media with the caption:

"Proud of You."

Olivia has had many endearing memories at LSU. She was a part of the gymnastics team that won its first national championship last season.

It was also at LSU that she crossed paths with her boyfriend, Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes. Skenes graduated from LSU in 2023 after helping them win the College World Series.

Skenes transferred to LSU from the Air Force Academy in 2022, primarily to expedite his graduation tenure and become eligible for the MLB draft within a year. Everything worked out well for the NL ROY and he made his professional debut with the Pirates in May.

Olivia Dunne attended many of Paul Skenes' home starts in PNC Park during his impressive rookie season.

Dunne, 22, has over 15 million followers on social media.

In an interview with the Daily Advertiser in 2001, Katherine Dunne reflected on her daughter's social media success:

"When TikTok came out, she started using it for gymnastics, but also for some of the fun, dynamic parts of her personality. Then she grew it a lot during COVID when she wasn't able to train as much. She developed it because she could focus on it."

"She was used to following a schedule, so she just started doing social media like it was her job. She would sit down, make a schedule, map out what kinds of content she’d do, and then watch how it performed."

Olivia Dunne is the highest-earning female student-athlete in America due to the many lucrative NIL deals she has signed over the years. On3 values her NIL deals at $4.2 million.
