Paul Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, voiced her sadness over the TikTok ban in the United States of America. The social media app was not available to its over 170 million U.S users from Saturday night after the US Supreme Court upheld the ban placed on the app.
Livvy Dunne had over eight million followers on the app. She took to her other social media handle to post a story expressing her unhappiness about the ban. The caption in her social media story read:
"I'm sad."
"Time to get the LinkedIn ready 😪"
The app has also been made unavailable for download from the Apple and Google Play store. When the American users opened the app on Saturday night the following message came up on their devices:
"Sorry, TikTok isn't available right now. A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can't use TikTok for now. We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please stay tuned!"
Olivia Dunne gained prominence as an internet personality after first gaining traction and creating a large fan base via TikTok. She started to make videos and reels on the app during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Dunne is currently concentrating all her energy on the SEC matchups with the LSU Tigers women's gymnastics team. Her boyfriend and Pirates ace Paul Skenes is avidly supporting her throughout all her floor and balance beam routines with the Tigers this season.
