Paul Skenes shows support from stands as girlfriend Olivia Dunne's gymnastic flips light up recent LSU meet

Paul Skenes was present inside Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to showcase loving support for his girlfriend Olivia Dunne as the LSU Tigers gymnastics squad participated in the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad event on Saturday.

LSU, ranked No. 2, took on the top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners, sixth-ranked California Golden Bears and fourth-ranked Utah Utes in the event. They lost to Oklahoma 197.650-197.950, while winning the other two against California and Utah 197.650-197.275 and 197.650-196.800 to finish second.

Olivia Dunne performed on floor, bars and balance beam routines, and her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, voiced his appreciation for her skill on the mat.

Dunne and Skenes met while both were LSU stars in 2022. While Skenes led the Tigers to a national championship in the 2023 College World Series, Livvy was on the team as LSU won its first NCAA gymnastics title in April.

Paul was chosen as the overall pick by the Pirates in the 2023 MLB draft while Olivia graduated from LSU with her bachelor's degree in December.

Olivia Dunne is in her fifth and final year with the Tigers gymnastics, and Paul Skenes is making the most of the offseason by cheering for her during gymnastics matchdays this season.

Livvy had earlier made all the stops during Skenes' rookie MLB season to cheer for him through his starts in 2024. She even made it to Arlington, Texas, on July 18 to watch him pitch for the NL All-Stars in the Midsummer Classic.

In an exclusive interview with People magazine in October, Olivia Dunne reflected on why her relationship with the Pirates ace works so well.

"I think that we play off of one another and make each other better," Dunne said. "Paul definitely holds me accountable, which I really appreciate. Sometimes, it's hard to find it within yourself to do things."

Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes are going from strength to strength both as a couple and in their individual lives as they continue to provide unconditional loving support to each other.
