New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso celebrated his third anniversary with his wife Haley Alonso on Tuesday, having first met her in 2015 when he was playing summer baseball in the Cape Cod League. They were in for a long-distance relationship, as Pete was enrolled at the University of Florida, while Haley was at Michigan State University.
Haley Alonso posted a collage of snaps from their wedding day on her Instagram story, mentioning the special date and expressing her love for her husband.
"11.12.22. Happy anniversary @polarpete20 i love you," she captioned her story.
Before this story, she had uploaded pictures from her Iceland trip, where she clicked a picture of the Bruarfoss Waterfall in Iceland. It's not clear if she made this trip with her husband or went solo, though.
Meanwhile, the first baseman didn't post anything about his third anniversary, likely keeping things personal between him and his wife.
Pete Alonso and his wife Haley shared their moments from Ireland trip
A few days ago, Haley Alonso was in Ireland with her husband Pete and shared a bunch of pictures from their trip together. She posted some pictures of the scenic beauty of Ireland, showing the beautiful cliffs of Moher in western Ireland.

Before that, in early November, Haley shared their time spent in Paris with her husband.
On the season front, the New York Mets were eliminated in the NLDS on Oct. 20 against the 2024 World Series champions Los Angeles Dodgers, gving Alonso more time than usual to spend some quality time with his better half.
