Phillies catcher Garrett Stubbs sends 2-word message to Mickey Moniak's wife Sophia's wedding recap

On Monday, LA Angels outfielder Mickey Moniak tied the knot with Sophia Visotcky. The couple had been engaged since January 2024, when Moniak popped the big question at a scenic location on the southern California coastline.

On Wednesday, Sophia shared a 10-snap post on her Instagram of the wedding. All the snaps in the post were in black and white.

"We can’t thank [Jessa Dunn] and [White Lace Events & Design] enough for making our dreams become reality," Sophia wrote. "The most special day. Our favorite day. Not only did we have the best planner ever, but gained a great friend from it.

"To all of our vendors, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! You made this more than incredible and we cannot recommend you enough!!!"

Phillies catcher Garrett Stubbs, Moniak's former teammate, dropped a two-word reaction to the post.

"So good 🙌" - Stubbs wrote.

Moniak, the Phillies' first overall pick in the 2016 MLB draft, was with them till August 2, 2022, when they traded him to the Angels for Noah Syndergaard.

The first snap of the post was a beautiful kiss of newlyweds. The second snap had Mickey Moniak and his wife in a hilarious pose, with Sophia hiding her face with a bouquet.

The third snap had Sophia with one of her hands up and tongue out while her husband looked straight into the camera, while the fourth snap had the couple in smiles as the husband embraced his wife from behind.

In the next snap, Moniak and his wife passionately kissed with wedding guests around them. Subsequent snaps showed the couple dancing and eating burgers.

On December 14, Garrett Stubbs married longtime partner Evyn Murray at Solaz, a luxury resort in Mexico. Moniak attended the event with Sophia, his then-fiancee.

On December 19, Moniak shared a six-snap post on Instagram from his time at the Solaz. He captioned the post:

Stubbs and his wife quickly responded to the post.
