New York Yankees legend-turned-media personality Alex Rodriguez has been busy on the desk during the postseason as an analyst on FOX. The former baseball star has been one of the most important members of the analysts desk alongside David Ortiz and Derek Jeter as he brings balance and knowledge into the broadcast.
Ahead of Game 3 of the World Series on Monday at his former stomping ground at Yankee Stadium, Rodriguez was seen with his daughter Natasha spending time with celebrity siblings Kate and Oliver Hudson.
The siblings are a part of the famous Hudson clan that has been a staple in Hollywood since the 1960's.
Kate and Oliver are the children of actor and musician Bill Hudson and Academy Award-winning actress Goldie Hawn. Kate was seen sporting a Yankee ball cap, while her brother Oliver was wearing a Dodger one.
Yankee fans pay tribute to Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter, take jab at David Ortiz
One of the most passionate fan bases around the league, New York Yankee fans are known to always speak their mind, sometimes, a bit too loudly.
Before Game 3 of the titanic clash of the Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Bronx, the FOX Sports desk was doing their pre-game analysis of the game. As the desk was located in the stands, the Yankee fans were in close proximity to the panel.
Given that two Yankee greats were a part of the talent desk, the rabid New York fanbase initiated a roll call of the team's icons.
The crowd first chanted Derek Jeter's name, then came "A-Rod" for Alex Rodriguez. When it came to Red Sox legend David Ortiz, the Yankee fans shouted "Papi su**s!"
It prompted the Hall of Famer to reply to the crowd to show him some love. Just a regular back-and-forth between the Yankee fans and a Boston Red Sox player, to say the least.
