Minnesota Twins' All-Star Carlos Correa celebrated Independence Day with his wife, Daniella Correa Rodriguez. The 29-year-old Puerto Rico native donned a dress featuring the USA flag, which Rodriguez proudly shared on Instagram with a caption:

“Merica.”

Rodriguez accompanied her husband’s festive outfit by dressing in a red t-shirt highlighting the letters, “USA,” with white pants and shoes. This completed her 'Dallas Cowboys' cheerleader look.

“Giving Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders [vibe],” she wrote in her story.

Carlos Correa reportedly met Daniella sometime after she threw the ceremonial first pitch in 2016 at Minute Maid Park, shortly after being crowned the 2016 Miss Texas.

The couple started dating during Correa’s tenure with the Houston Astros. While there, he famously proposed to her on live TV following their 2017 World Series Championship win against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

They exchanged vows in January 2020 and are parents of two little ones, Kyro (born Dec 2021) and Kenzo (born March 2023).

Correa left Houston in 2022 to join the Minnesota Twins on a three-year, $105.3 million contract. It was later revised to a six-year, $200 million contract in 2023, with four additional vesting options worth $70 million.

Carlos Correa’s foundation took special fans to the Twins game

Besides his baseball career, Carlos Correa is also focused on charity work in his off-field activities. In 2019, he and his family founded the 'Correa Family Foundation', a non-profit charity firm, aiming to improve the well-being of children and their families in need.

It also provides financial aid for non-medical costs to those suffering from pediatric cancer diagnosis.

On Thursday, Correa’s foundation brought two special guests to Target Field for the Twins' game against the Detroit Tigers. These were Griffin, 13, who battles lymphoma, and Rhiannon, 17, a Down syndrome patient fighting leukemia.

Correa and his wife Daniella spent time with the children before the game, creating unforgettable memories.

The Twins comfortably won the game 12-3, claiming their first series win in July and bringing the season record to 49-38. They will next face the Astros at Target Field starting Friday for a three-game series, while aiming for the AL Central’s top spot, currently held by Cleveland Guardians (54-31).
