Jose Canseco's daughter, Josie, is making a name for herself in the modeling and fashion industry. She started her journey in the fashion industry when she was just 15 years old.

In her latest Instagram story, Josie rocked brown swimwear during her summer vacation and also tagged Elite Model Management NYC in the caption.

"Digitals but on vacation @elitenyc."

Josie's parents, Jose Canseco and Jessica, met while Jessica was working part time at a Hooters outlet. The duo soon started to date, but the underlying tensions in their relationship continued to become a problem in their lives. After Jessica's surprise pregnancy, the couple got closer and even decided to get married.

Canseco was down with a back injury in Miami, Florida, during his stint with the Red Sox in the MLB. The couple thus married at Jose Canseco's bedside in Florida in August 1996 and were blessed with their firstborn, Josie, in November.

Everything seemed alright for a while, but tensions between the couple resurfaced, which grew to the extent that they decided to part ways in 1999 and finally settled their divorce lawsuit in 2000. Despite Jessica and Jose Canseco parting ways, they agreed to co-parent Josie.

She got her breakthrough in the modeling industry after getting picked for a photoshoot for LOVE magazine. Currently, she models in advertisements for some of the biggest brands in America and has featured in many star-studded fashion shows over the years, including Victoria's Secret.

In an exclusive interview with Harper's Bazaar Vietnam issue, Josie reflected on the aspect of wise and rightful decision-making in her modeling career, saying:

"I’m extremely hands-on with everything I do, and I think that comes from being on my own a lot as a kid. It’s hard to let people dictate what’s best for me when I’ve always had to run my own ship, but I’m very lucky to have an amazing team of people that guide my decision making.

"I’ve learned to be more trusting and open minded to a group effort on work and life choices, but I ultimately will pull the chord on anything that doesn’t feel authentic to me."

She often spends time with her father, Jose Canseco, attending shows and events together. Despite Jose's topsy-turvy past both on and off the field, Josie keeps her loving ties close with him.
