Will there be a time when fans will cheer for Olivia Dunne at the world’s most prestigious sports competition? Only she knows. Following her NCAA Championship win with the Louisiana State University, Dunne has reached Paris to support the Team USA gymnastics in the Olympics.

She could follow in the footsteps of gold medalists Sunisa Lee and Simone Biles, but for now, she’s putting all her energy into loud cheering. In her July 30th Instagram story, Dunne can be seen enjoying Paris’ pleasant weather from her hotel room, wearing a denim skirt and white top under the warming sun:

She added the song “La vie en rose” by Edith Piaf to her upload, perfectly portraying her free and happy mood in Paris. While her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, continues to make headlines with his impressive performances for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Dunne is making memories on her tour to share with him upon her return.

Olivia Dunne was also photographed with beach volleyball players Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss, two LSU alumni, during the 2024 Paris Olympics, featuring the famous Eiffel Tower in the background:

Olivia Dunne’s career plan remains speculative

Olivia Dunne, the highest-paid college athlete in US, announced her decision to attend a fifth year at LSU, which the college offered due to the COVID-19 disruption in the 2020-21 academic year. She shared the news on Instagram with the caption:

“not Dunne yet.”

She could have graduated this year and entered the professional world, but Dunne chose to extend her time at LSU. This decision, however, doesn’t end the speculation about her future career plans.

The 21-year-old was named Rookie of the Year in the 2024 SI Swimsuit Magazine’s 60th issue, making her a sensation in the fashion world. With an immense following on various social media platforms, Dunne balances her gymnastics career with social events and promotions. It remains to be seen if she will choose a career in sports or modeling.
