Dodgers catcher Will Smith's wife, Cara Martinelli Smith, actively shares images and videos of the backstop, but even more of their daughter Charlotte Ann Smith. Smith's teammate Gavin Lux shared an adorable moment with baby Char on the field inside Dodger Stadium. He proceeded to upload that image to his Instagram account.

Cara took to Instagram to share the same post on her story, with the caption:

"Char loves her fist bumps from Gavin"

Cara and Will Smith met each other when she was pursuing a teaching degree from the University of Lousiville, and Will was busy playing with the Cardinals baseball team.

Right after their first meeting, the duo felt a spark, which grew further as they started to date each other. After almost four years of dating, the couple got engaged in 2019.

A year later, on Dec. 18, 2020, the Smiths exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding affair in the presence of friends and family members.

The couple welcomed their firstborn, a daughter named Charlotte Ann Smith, on Oct. 16, 2022. The happy family of three made their maiden public appearance at the 2023 MLB All-Star red carpet event.

Before meeting Will Smith, Cara had little or no interest in baseball, as she actively focused on her job as a teacher. But now, she has become Will's biggest supporter, as she's regularly spotted inside Dodger Stadium during gamedays.

She has a decent following on Instagram and loves to post about her husband and daughter Char.

Cara shared an adorable moment between Will Smith and daughter Char

Will Smith has been one of the best backstops overall in the current campaign. He has already made it to the reserved list for the Midsummer Classic and produced some amazing at-bats in the series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

On July 5, in the series opener against the Brewers, Smith crushed three home runs in the game to help the Dodgers win 8-5.

After the game, Smith was observed sharing some adorable moments with daughter Charlotte inside the clubhouse, as Cara Smith captured that moment and shared it on her Instagram story with the caption:

"A daddy-daughter date in the clubhouse tonight … truly SO thankful for an organization that focuses so much on family."

Will Smith will look to make an impression in the Midsummer Classic as he travels to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, for Tuesday's All-Star game alongside other Dodgers ballplayers representing the NL team.
