While Freddie Freeman and the Los Angeles Dodgers are dominating the diamond post the All-Star break, all is not well at the Freeman household. Freddie Freeman's wife Chelsea shared a worrying update on Monday.
Chelsea, a mother of three, put out an update about their youngest son Maximus Turner's health in her Instagram stories. She shared that Maximus had contracted Transient synovitis following a viral infection earlier during the All-Star week when he accompanied his family to Texas
"Please say a prayer for Maximus. Doctor says he developed transient synovitis from the viral infection he had All-Star week. Day 3 of not being able to sit, stand or walk."
Chelsea also put out to plea for her followers to help her out in administrating the medicines to Maximus who keeps spitting them out, unlike other times.
"Any tips to help toddlers take/keep down medicine? He is usually good at taking medicine but he keeps spitting it out."
For the uninitiated, transient synovitis is the inflammation of the hips in children which limits the movements of the lower body and children suffering from this can be often seen limping. Viral infections are the probable triggers for this condition. However, patients usually recover in five to seven days but the symptoms can last for a few weeks in some cases.
Chelsea and Freddie tied the knot in November 2014 after dating for almost three years. The duo share three children, Charlie Freeman, Brandon John and Maximus Turner.
Freddie Freeman continues to make history for the Dodgers
The LA Dodgers headed into the third game of the series against division rivals San Francisco Giants on Wednesday with a perfect record since the All-Star break. All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman has been crucial to the team's success over the last few games.
He came in clutch during the team's hard-fought game against the 2018 World Series winners the Boston Red Sox on Friday. Freeman launched a go-ahead grand slam to lead his team to a come-from-behind 4-1 win. It was his fourth grand slam for the former Atlanta Braves star since his move to Los Angeles, the second most by a Dodgers player in franchise history.
