The former Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz shared how he celebrated his New Year and posted some clips on social media with a wholesome message. Ortiz is the 27th member of the 500 home runs club and took retirement from his full-fledged career in 2017.

He celebrated the arrival of 2025 with his girlfriend, Maria Yeribel. David Ortiz had a yacht party with his friends and Yeribel. He also shared some throwback pictures with his children and family.

"Incredible start to the year with my children and other family members, may this be a year of learning and health for everyone, and remember that there is nothing like family, the glory belongs to God, blessings," Ortiz wrote in the caption.

Ortiz's girlfriend Maria Yeribel also shared a video from their outing on the New Year on her Instagram story. Maria was donning a white bodycon dress in the video and dancing to the party music while Ortiz was wearing a blue floral shirt and white pants and sipping on his drink.

David Ortiz's girlfriend Maria glams up for Christmas festival in a bodycon gown

David Ortiz's girlfriend Maria Yeribel shared her off-shoulder bodycon gown on Instagram, which perfectly matched the Christmas theme. Yeribel shared the pictures with her boyfriend David Ortiz and their son Diego while wishing her followers Merry Christmas in the last week.

The picture was taken in front of the decorated Christmas tree while the Red Sox legend was all suited up for the occasion of Christmas.

"Feliz Navidad ❤️." (Merry Christmas ❤️ ) Maria wrote in the caption.

Ortiz's career went on for 20 seasons, and throughout his tenure, he played for two clubs: the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox. His most notable years were spent with the Red Sox, where he played from 2003 to 2016. Ortiz played a total of 2,408 games, hit 541 home runs, and stole 17 bases. He recorded a career batting average of .286 (not .552) and finished with 1,768 RBIs.
