Ryan Pressly and Kyle Tucker’s wives send heartfelt messages as the Astros World Series champions reunite at Chicago Cubs

Earlier in December, the Houston Astros traded Kyle Tucker to the Chicago Cubs for Issac Paredes, Hayden Wesneski and Cam Smith. On Sunday, the Astros announced another trade with the Cubs: Juan Bello for 2x All-Star relief pitcher Ryan Pressly.

Tucker's wife, Samantha, and Pressly's wife, Kat, seemed excited by the prospect of their husbands becoming teammates. Tucker and Pressly share a memorable moment in their 2022 World Series victory, as the former secured the final out by catching a fly ball off the latter's pitch.

Re-sharing the final out of the 2022 World Series on her Instagram stories, Samantha captioned the post:

"The Pressly fam is coming to Chicago!!!"

It didn't take long for Kat to reciprocate the love. Pressly's wife re-shared Samantha's Instagram story, captioning it:

"couldn't be more excited to be reunited with the king and queen!"

The king and queen nod is about Tucker's nickname, "King Tuck."

Kyle Tucker married Samantha on Jan. 14, 2024, at Pelican Golf Club in Florida. The couple had been engaged since Dec. 2022. They have known each other for a long time, having graduated together from Plant High School in Florida in 2015. However, they officially began dating in 2017.

Tucker will be a free agent after the upcoming season and forecasts indicate that the 28-year-old will command a deal close to $400,000,000. Even though he played only 78 games in 2024, MLB Network's Shredder ranked Tucker the second-best right fielder in the league, only behind Aaron Judge. Juan Soto placed third.

Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk was the venue of the 39th annual Cubs convention, where fans of the team get an opportunity to interact with their favorite players.

The Cubs' recent acquisition, Kyle Tucker, was officially introduced at the convention. As expected, Tucker's wife Samantha tagged along. Samantha recapped the experience with an Instagram post on Wednesday.

"Cubs Con 2025 will forever be a core memory 🐻," Samantha captioned the post.

Samantha's post had 5 snaps and 1 video. In the first picture, Kyle Tucker posed with his wife, who wore an elegant floral-printed gown. Tucker opted for a blue tuxedo.

A video of Tucker's interaction with the Chicago Cubs fans came next. The second snap showed Tucker from behind as he addressed their questions. The following three snaps offered glimpses into their private moments: Samantha holding a customized baseball in one, a chocolate shake in another and possibly a shot from their dinner table.

Samathan, who has over 8000 followers on Instagram, frequently shares moments with her MLB star husband. She is also actively involved with the Kyle Tucker Foundation, a charitable organization focusing on palliative care.
