Ryan Pressly and wife Kate had a busy weekend, and it's one that is going to land them in a new city. Pressly agreed to accept a trade to the Chicago Cubs, and it's one that will force his entire family to move from the Houston area.

Pressly has been a member of the Houston Astros since the 2018 season and he has pitched in many big games for the team. As news of the trade broke, tributes to Pressly poured in, and Kate was quick to share those on her Instagram story.

There were many other videos and posts that were shared by Kate and it's clear that Ryan Pressly was a beloved member of the Astros. He had a full no-trade clause but ultimately agreed to waive that so he could try to win a division title with the Chicago Cubs.

Ryan Pressly and Kate got married on December 31, 2019, and she is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. They are now a family of four as son Wyatt was born in August 2021 and Hunter Lee was born in July 2022.
