On Tuesday, Cleveland Guardians starting pitcher Shane Bieber's wife, Kara Maxine, posted an Instagram story, where she talked about her upcoming travel plans.

Expecting her first child with the Guardians ace, Kara is in the last three months of her pregnancy. She explained that she is currently in the "no fly zone," responding to a fan query.

The fan had asked if she had any trips planned. She replied:

"Nope! I'm pretty much in my no fly zone of pregnancy 🤎 going to enjoy routine & rest being home ! I saw a great quote the other day that said "treat every day like you're going into labor that night." I haven't been doing that yet but I liked it lol" Kara Maxine captioned her Instagram story.

Per sources, Shane Bieber and Kara Maxine first crossed paths when they were studying at UCSB. Shane was a part of the university's baseball team, the UCSB Gauchos.

The pair dated for a few years after graduating, before announcing their engagement in 2021. The couple tied the knot in Malibu, California two years later.

Shane Bieber's wife Kara Maxine looks back at the year gone by

On January 1, Kara Maxine took to Instagram to post a video which featured memorable moments as she looked back at 2024.

"Moments captured as they pass by all too quickly 🤍 which month is your fav?" Kara Maxine captioned her Instagram post.

For Shane Bieber, 2024 would have been a frustrating year as far as baseball is concerned. Due to recurring elbow issues, the 29-year-old had to undergo Tommy John surgery in April, which brought his 2024 season to an untimely end.

Though he was a free agent for a brief period following the end of the 2024 season, Bieber received a one-year offer from the Guardians with a player option for an extra year, which he agreed to in December.

Fans at Progressive Field will be excited to see the 2020 Cy Young winner showcase his quality on the mound once again, but it is not exactly clear when that will be possible.
