Cleveland Guardians ace pitcher Shane Bieber’s wife took to social media to share details about herself, including how the couple met.
In a series of IG stories that she called "Monday Q's," Kara Bieber answered the question about how she and Shane Bieber met.
In the caption, Kara summed up the experience by writing:

“Mutual friends in college! We went to UCSB.”
The couple studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara where Shane made the team as a walk-on in 2013.
After dating for several years following college, Shane Bieber and Kara got officially engaged in 2021. The couple then tied the knot in 2023.
Shane and Kara Bieber have remained active on social media, with Kara being open about her pregnancy. The couple is expecting their first child next month.

In August 2024, Kara landed a modeling contract with the Ford/Robert Black Agency. While her modeling career has hit a brief pause due to her pregnancy, the 26-year-old has quite a journey ahead of her.

In the meantime, the Biebers are getting ready for the journey that is parenthood. Shane and Kara expect this first child to arrive at some point in the coming weeks, most likely at the end of February.
That timing is perfect for the Bieber family as Shane continues to recover from Tommy John surgery. As such, he’ll have some time on his hands to enjoy the first few weeks of fatherhood before gearing up for a return to the mound.
The year 2025 looks to be an exciting one for the Bieber family across the board.
