Kevin Kiermaier's wife, Marisa, announced the birth of their third child, a girl named Layla Maire, and the spouses of her husband's former teammates sent heartfelt messages welcoming the newborn.

On Tuesday, Marisa shared a nine-picture snap on her Instagram, announcing the birth of the baby girl. She captioned the post:

"Layla Marie, welcome to the world sweet girl. A week of pure bliss with her 🤍🌸."

The first and second snaps featured the newborn, while the next four captured her siblings and parents showering her with love. The final snap showed Marisa and the newborn together near a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

Kevin Kiermaier retired from MLB after 2024, playing the final season with the LA Dodgers. Partners of several of his ex-teammates from the Dodgers commented on Marisa's post.

Marisa has been with Kiermaier since 2016. The couple tied the knot on Nov. 10, 2017, just nine months after their engagement on Feb. 11. With over 12,000 Instagram followers, Marisa often gives fans glimpses of Kiermaier, who remains inactive on social media.
