Alex Bregman's wife Reagan has been busy over the past few weeks, modeling for various brands and engaging in photoshoots in New York. Meanwhile, she's also making sure to attend her husband's games at Minute Maid Park.
However, with the Astros being clean-swept by the Detroit Tigers in the wildcard round, Bregman's season has come to an end. In the offseason, his agent Scott Boras will take calls from different teams as the third baseman expects to get signed for good money.
On Wednesday, Reagan engaged in a Q&A session with her followers on social media. One user who considers Reagan a role model asked Reagan for advice for those who are in their early 20s. Talking from experience, Reagan had a few pointers:
"What others think of you is none of your business."
"Don't be afraid of stepping out of your comfort zone. (especially in your career)"
"Some friends take your energy away, some add to it. Learn the difference and make sure you have a solid inner circle."
"Don't stress about things you have no control over. Comparison is the thief of joy."
"Take breaks or your body will for you."
"Remember to be grateful."
Reagan Bregman shares she didn't know baseball until she met Alex Bregman
Reagan and Alex Bregman met each other in Austin at a restaurant through a common friend. The two started dating and overcame long distance issue as she decided to move back to Houston to be with the third baseman.
However, Reagan didn't know anything about baseball but said she had to learn the game in her conversation with 'Chattin' with Chelsea' on Fox.
"I always tell people that, and they're shocked," Reagan said (2:00 onwards). "But I was living in Austin at the time, working at Google, and traveling to San Francisco. So, honestly, the last thing on my mind was baseball or even sports in general. I was so focused on work.
"When I met Alex, it was like, ‘Oh, I need to learn a little bit about this sport if we're going to date, because I have to go to these games and need to know what's going on.’ So, I'm the worst. Honestly, I could probably teach you now—at least at this point."
With time, not only she has learned the game but has also made sure her two-year-old Knox develops an affinity for it. Alex Bregman has also said that Knox's interest in baseball comes in large part due to Reagan, who helps Knox understand the game.
