On Sunday, Jackson Holliday's wife, Chloe, took to Instagram to share a series of adorable snaps featuring her husband and their dog, Coconut, as the couple celebrated the pup's first birthday.
"COCONUT TURNS ONE ! happiest lil buddy 🥥🥥🥥🥥🥥" Chloe Holliday captioned her Instagram post
On the field, it was a season of two hugely contrasting halves for Jackson Holliday in 2024. Initially, the youngster struggled mightily, which led to questions being raised about his role in the team. Eventually, the 21-year-old suffered what would surely have been a demotivating demotion back to triple-A level.
However, it appeared Holliday was back on track once he was recalled to the major leagues in late July. Recording some hits in crucial moments of games, the rookie quickly became one of the most reliable bats in the Orioles' lower order.
Despite Holliday's best efforts, though, the Orioles fell short of the mark in the AL East, as eventual World Series runners-up up the New York Yankees found an extra gear to secure the division title. Though they did make it to the playoffs, the Orioles were eliminated in the wildcard series by the Kansas City Royals after two low-scoring games.
