Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran made the first MLB All-Star Game appearance of his career on Tuesday at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas after making his major league debut with the club in 2021.
During the 2024 All-Star Game, Duran showcased his skills bringing in two runs through his first hit in the fifth inning. While facing Cincinnati Reds pitcher Hunter Greene, he hit a 413-foot home run to right center field with a speed of 106.8 mph.

Duran recorded one hit in two at-bats with two RBIs. Until the top of the fifth inning, both teams were tied with three runs each. Duran's two-run homer helped the American League go on to win the 2024 All-Star Game 5-3.

Speaking to MLB Network in an interview with Duran, Martinez said:
"It's not only in the field, but he's bringing it out too. And I know that people in Boston are pretty aware of what this guy – listen, just like I said, it brings the attitude, it brings the body. It must be nice to be that good-looking, that fast, that good in baseball, and then at the same time so well dressed."
So far in the 2024 season, Duran has a batting average of .284, with 10 home runs and 41 RBIs in 95 games for the Boston Red Sox.
