Fans reacted to Chicago White Sox interim manager Grady Sizemore’s ejection on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles. The White Sox started the second game of their series against the Orioles following an 11th consecutive loss in a series opener, losing 13-3.
In the sixth inning, Grady Sizemore was ejected by home plate umpire Hunter Wendelstedt after expressing concern about a high strike call to Andrew Benintendi.
Benintendi eventually struck out but was dissatisfied with the strike call, as it appeared to be off the plate. He argued with Wendelstedt but was ejected shortly after.

Fans shared their reactions on Reddit regarding Grady Sizemore’s first ejection since becoming the Chicago White Sox’s interim manager.
“There’s nothing better than a young manager who has still got the biceps getting fired up,” a Reddit user wrote.
“HELL YEAH GRADY THAT’S MY BOY,” another user wrote.
“This ump is performing worse than the White Sox,” another user said.
Many other fans criticized home plate umpire Hunter Wendelstedt’s calls.
“Hunter Wendelstedt is a loser little titty baby,” a comment reads.
“I get these were bad calls, but I think Wendelstedt was taking mercy on everyone involved in trying to end the game as soon as possible,” another comment reads.
“I thought Bucknor would be taking the crown after Angel retired. But Hunter’s reached elite levels of trash all year,” someone wrote.

The Chicago White Sox are the worst team in MLB this season, with 31 wins and 109 losses, following their 9-0 defeat to the Orioles. The White Sox have the lowest winning percentage, at .221.
White Sox had an embarrassing defensive blunder in 9-0 loss to the Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning. Ryan O'Hearn hit an RBI double, followed by another RBI double from Anthony Santander. Colton Cowser scored the third run for his team with an RBI single off Chicago White Sox pitcher Nick Nastrini.
In the second inning, Cowser scored a run after drawing a bases-loaded walk. Shortly after, Eloy Jiménez came to the plate and hit a ball to left field, which Chicago shortstop Jacob Amaya, third baseman Miguel Vargas and left fielder Andrew Benintendi all raced to catch.
Vargas seemed to signal to Amaya to back off, which he did, but Benintendi didn't hear the call and continued to run in, leading to a collision with Vargas, who fell to the ground. The ball rolled into foul territory but was still in play, as it had been touched, resulting in the Orioles scoring three runs.
Cedric Mullins’ RBI single in the fourth inning and Anthony Santander's sacrifice fly in the fifth set the final score of the game. The White Sox offense recorded six hits on 33 at-bats with no runs and ten strikeouts.
The Chicago White Sox face the Baltimore Orioles again on Wednesday in the finale of their three-game series.
