The New York Yankees are having a memorable time on Old Timer's Day. Former stars, including Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter and CC Sabathia are in the Bronx to watch their team win. While it seems to be a happy moment for the franchise, it's one to forget for Will Warren.

Warren is struggling mightily as the Rockies pound the rookie. It's not the first time Warren has struggled against opponents. However, this time seems to be worse as he balked twice in the top of the third inning.

Warren had thrown 53 pitches when he lost balance on the mound. While it seemed he had something on his shoe, Yankees fans were upset that he forced a runner to third base. Warren had already surrendered two runs during his balk.

Here's a look at some of the fan reactions on X.

“This is unwatchable,” wrote one fan on X.
"Send him down man," another fan wrote.
"I can’t believe the Yanks don’t have anyone better than this guy they could bring up," one fan chipped in.

Comments continued to flow as fans condemned Warren for his poor performance.

"Yep, they picked the pitcher for us to lose. Only 8 era. We’re getting in the homestretch we need winners. Ridiculous," one fan responded.
"Fellas what are we doing pitching this dude in a pennant race?" asked one fan.
"Really ugly baseball on both sides of the ball, team needs to lock in," one fan chimed in.

Will Warren leaves the mound as the Yankees bring in Mark Leiter Jr.

The Yankees had no choice but to remove Warren from the mound for his regrettable performance. Warren surrendered six runs to the Rockies before Mark Leiter Jr. came in.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. tallied a base hit while Alex Verdugo smashed a solo home run. Warren holds one of the worst ERAs in the league at 9.68. The rookie hasn't won a game at the MLB level.
