How did the newlywed couple Tobias Myers and Leah meet?
Before the "true fairytale wedding," as they called their ceremony just a month ago, Tobias Myers and Leah Angelillo started their love story when they first met during the 2019 offseason at a local bar in South Florida.
The couple instantly kicked off as they dated for four years before Myers popped the engagement question to Leah to become his Mrs. Myers on Nov. 12, 2023. The proposal took place at the beach during sunset, according to People, and was attended by the couple's closest friends and family.
In December, the couple were tied forever. During an interview with People, Leah spoke about their future.
"We are most excited to continue growing our love for each other and starting a family together one day!" she said. "We love how much fun we have with each other! For us, there is never a dull moment when we are together, with endless fun activities and plans to look forward to!"
On the baseball front, Myers is coming off an exceptional season with the Milwaukee Brewers, posting a 9-6 record while holding a 3.00 ERA.
