Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Tobias Myers is focusing on his fitness this offseason while enjoying post-marriage with Leah Myers. The couple got married on Dec. 14 at The Boca Raton hotel in Boca Raton, Florida. They have been seeing each other for the last five years, and one thing that remains common between both is fitness.
Myers made his MLB debut in April last season. That came after a journey through the minor league after being picked in the sixth round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles. In his first season, he went 9-6, posting a 3.00 ERA.
On Sunday, Leah posted a mirror selfie with her husband. She was in a white cropped tank top paired with sleek black leggings and accessorized it with a white Nike cap and trendy white sneakers.
Tobias, meanwhile, opted for a casual athletic look, sporting a long-sleeved shirt, navy shorts and a bright yellow headband. His white running shoes and socks completed the ensemble.
What made the selfie more intriguing was Leah’s witty caption:
“Suspect wants to run after a 12hr shift. Jail.”
Tobias Myers wedding with Leah was a true modern fairytale
Tobias Myers and Leah exchanged their vows in a beautiful setting, giving "modern fairy tale" vibes at The Boca Raton Hotel in Boca Raton, Florida. According to People, only 100 guests were invited.
The reason behind choosing the place for her wedding came from a childhood experience at the same place. Since then, Leah, who's from Florida, decided to wed here.
"Tobias and I always envisioned having an intimate wedding weekend celebration with our closest family and friends," Leah told PEOPLE. "We knew the resort would accommodate our out-of-town guests to enjoy the area while visiting for our wedding.
"I always imagined myself getting married there one day, as the venue reminded me of a fairy tale, with its vintage-style castle aesthetic," she added.
Tobias Myers wasn't the only bachelor in the Brewers camp who tied the knot in the offseason.
Relief pitcher Bryan Hudson tied the knot with Kailin Haug inside the Southern-inspired Westwind Hills venue on the same date (Dec. 14) in Pacific, Missouri. Pitcher DL Hall exchanged vows with Hannah Roberts on Dec. 7 at The Riviera Maya EDITION at Kanai in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
