Best MLB home run prop bets for September 25
5) Marcus Semien: Over 0.5 is 6.50
Marcus Semien hasn't had the season he imagined, but the Texas Rangers infielder does have 22 blasts. Four of them came in last month, and today he has a strong matchup with Oakland Athletics. Lefty Brady Basso (1-0, 2.33 ERA) is on the mound to start.
4) Jose Ramirez: Over 0.5 is 5.75
Jose Ramirez has quietly put up another quality power season. He has 37 home runs, two of which have come in the last week. He's hitting well, and the Cleveland Guardians star has a matchup with Jakob Junis (4-0, 2.61 ERA) and the Cincinnati Reds today.
3) Ketel Marte: Over 0.5 is 5.25
Ketel Marte has had yet another excellent hitting season, including 35 home runs. He has added three to his tally in the last seven games for the Arizona Diamondbacks, so he's hitting well lately. Mason Black (1-4, 5.88 ERA) and the San Francisco Giants are in his way today, so he has a good shot to add another.
2) Jake Burger: Over 0.5 is 4.40
Jake Burger hasn't done a lot of hitting this year (.245 average), but when he hits, it's often a home run. Burger's 28 of 125 hits have left the yard for the Miami Marlins. Today, he gets to take on Simeon Woods-Richardson (5-5, 4.00 ERA) and the Minnesota Twins.
1) Shohei Ohtani: Over 0.5 is 3.60
Shohei Ohtani is one of the favorites every single day to hit a home run. The Los Angeles Dodgers star has 53 of them, which is more than everyone besides Aaron Judge by a fairly wide margin. He does unfortunately have to face San Diego Padres' Dylan Cease (14-11, 3.42 ERA), but he's almost matchup-proof.
