Wagering on players who are most likely to hit a home run might sound like a bit of a task. But that is what gets gamblers most excited. A lot of home runs are hit in the scheduled 14 or 15 games, but it is important to look at the nature of the game, the pitching matchups and the hitters' recent stats. Here's looking at the home run prop bets for July 21.

#5 Salvador Perez, +350

Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez continues to prove why he is a nine-time All-Star. At 34 years of age, he is batting at .283 having recorded 63 RBIs with 17 home runs this season. The Royals face a relatively easy challenge of the Chicago White Sox on Sunday with Perez going up against starter Drew Thorpe who has an ERA of 3.58.

#4 Brent Rooker, +320

The Oakland Athletics' brightest star this season, Brent Rooker has been on a tear this month. On Saturday, he hit a three-run shot against the Angels, which was his 22nd overall and seventh in July. He is currently the best batter in the American League, leading with an average of .479 and an OPS of 1.529. It is very likely that Rooker will go yard again in the series finale.

#3 Corey Seager, +310

Core Seager is trying to rescue the Texas Rangers' season with a .291 average and .909 OPS in the last 30 games. The Rangers face the tough assignment of Baltimore in the series finale, and Seager will be desperately looking to impress as they look to improve their 46-52 record.

#2 Shohei Ohtani, +180

Shohei Ohtani currently has a five-game hitting streak, but the Japanese superstar has been unable to go yard since July 13 notwithstanding the All-Star Game. However, if history suggests anything, Ohtani doesn't go a lot of games without a home run if he is reaching base on a regular basis. The Dodgers superstar will line up in the series finale with the Red Sox and look to get his 30th home run this season.

#1 Aaron Judge, +150

Aaron Judge still leads baseball in home runs (34) and OPS (1.107). But just like his West Coast counterpart, Judge is yet to hit a home run in a week. The Yankees themselves are in a big slump with their offense churning up subpar numbers. Judge is likely to be a leader again and get one on their division rivals, the Tampa Bay Rays.
