Baseball agent Rachel Luba took to social media on Friday to pen down a note, wishing her client Trevor Bauer on his 34th birthday. The duo achieved success in their respective fields of interest after Luba helped Bauer secure a place with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico in the LMB last season.
This move turned out to be fruitful as Bauer helped the club to the LMB championship title for the first time since the franchise last won it more than a decade ago in 2014. Trevor Bauer was also awarded as the 2024 Mexican League Pitcher of the Year.
Rachel Luba is a social media pro with over 150K followers on the platform. In her latest story, she shared a heartfelt wish for Bauer on his 34th birthday (Jan. 17). Luba shared an image with Bauer with a caption that read:
"HBD to the king of swords and chocolates! @baueroutage"
Before 2024, Luba had helped Bauer secure a deal with the Yokohama DeNa BayStars in the NPB in 2023. He was impressive in his maiden season in the Japanese league as well, earning an All-Star nod and finishing the season with a 10-4 record through 19 starts.
The triumphant season with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico in 2024 saw Trevor Bauer achieve many career milestones which included the single-game strikeout record in the Mexican League (19), which he achieved on June 21. Bauer also dominated proceedings throughout all his starts, finishing with a 10-0 record, 2.48 ERA and 120 strikeouts in the regular season.
After the 2024 LMB season, he elected to become a free agent and even traveled to Europe to interact, play with and promote the sport among budding European ballplayers alongside his agent.

Bauer, alongside his agent Luba, embarked on a trip to various European countries to promote the sport among ballplayers from different countries. On Jan. 10, Luba took to social media to share a series of images which included herself and Bauer interacting with European ballplayers inside Finsbury Park in London, England.
Here's a closer look at the Instagram post which was captioned as:
"Grateful for this job — the places it takes me, the people I get to meet, and the players I get to help."
While Trevor Bauer assesses his future options in the sport, it will be interesting to see whether Rachel Luba can help him with a successful return to the MLB.
