Trevor Bauer's agent Rachel Luba reflects on "outpouring love" ex-Dodgers pitcher received in LMB

Trevor Bauer's agent Rachel Luba helped the ex-Dodgers pitcher seal a sensational move to the Diablos Rojos del Mexico in the Mexican League ahead of the 2024 season. An initial 10-game contract was extended until the season end after Bauer hd steamrolled his way through the competition that came his way.

He eventually capped off a successful season in the LMB by helping the Red Devils of Mexico seal the championship and also won the Mexican League Pitcher of the Year award in 2024. Now, the RHP has left Mexico to re-sign with the Yokohama DeNA BayStars in the NPB for the upcoming baseball season.

Bauer's agent, Rachel Luba took to social media to share an image from their time in Mexico while penning down a heartfelt note for the Mexican ballclub and fans who supported Trevor Bauer throughout his endeavors on and off the field last year.

Bauer ended the 2024 LMB season with an emphatic 10-0 record from 14 starts, with an ERA of 2.48, league leading 120 strikeouts in 83.1 innings pitched.

During the postseason, he commanded 1.67 ERA, with 32 strikouts in 27 innings pitched. Additionaly Bauer set the all-time single game strikeouts record in the LMB, with 19, in 8.2 IP on June 21, 2024.

Now, the searing RHP moves back to Yokohama, Japan, to sign up with DeNA BayStars after Rachel Luba had brokered a lucrative deal for the 2020 NL Cy Young award-winning pitcher.

DeNA BayStars announce signing of Trevor Bauer for 2025 NPB season

The Japanese ballclub took to social media to announce the re-signing of Trevor Bauer for the upcoming season of the NPB. The player contract stands for one-year and Bauer will be wearing No. 96 in the newly renovated jersey for the BayStars.

Trevor Bauer had earlier played for the BayStars in 2023 after his agent Rachel Luba had helped with the contract negotiations. He finished the 2023 NPB season in Yokohama with a 10-4 record in 19 starts, 2.76 ERA and 130 strikeouts in 130.2 IP.
