Twins star Royce Lewis drops two-word message as wife Samantha shares 'sneak-peek' into wedding day

Minnesota Twins infielder Royce Lewis had a busy offseason, including marrying longtime girlfriend Samantha Hobert on Jan. 13. The couple had been engaged since Nov. 2023. Hobert is an athlete who played soccer at Arizona State University for four years.

On Wednesday, Hobert shared photos from their wedding day on Instagram with the caption:

"A sneak peek into the best day of our lives 🤍 01•13•2025."

Lewis shared his reaction to the photos with two words.

"❤️My Love❤️"

Many close family and friends, including some teammates from the Minnesota Twins, attended this wedding. Twins shortstop Carlo Correa's wife, Daniella, and outfielder Alex Kirilloff's spouse, Jordan, attended the wedding.

"My girl got married [Samantha Lewis] The most gorgeous bride," Jordan shared an IG story.

Royce Lewis' wife Samantha is trying to get rid of Batman collectibles

In a video that MLB shared in August, Royce Lewis explained his love for Batman and the accessories that go with the superhero.

Lewis discussed the various Batman collectibles he still has and noted that Samantha Hobert, then fiancee, was trying to "get rid" of the collectibles.

"I do have the bed sheets still," Lewis said. "The fiancee is trying to get rid of those as soon as possible."

Lewis recorded 16 home runs in the 2024 season to go along with 47 RBIs. The Minnesota Twins hope Lewis can be even more productive next season as they return to the top of the AL Central Division.
