Vanessa Hudgens, a fan of Major League Baseball and married to Los Angeles Angels utility man Cole Tucker, also seems to clamor the WWE spotlight. Evidenced by making a number of front-row appearances at live events over the years, the former Disney star recently got into the ring after Cody Rhodes called upon her to help "Do The Thing" in front of a packed Intuit Dome for the debut of Raw on Netflix.
A self-proclaimed fan of the WWE, Hudgens has made numerous posts on her social media channels in support of the company, as well as the sport. Going as far as donning a Roman Reigns shirt in support of the OTC while in attendance for an airing of RAW, or showing up in The Rock's corner for his brief return to the ring, Hudgens remains in the know and in support of the current stoy lines currently playing out in the sport.
The most recent post occurred this past week on Instagram which saw her wearing a "Hot Girls Love Pro Wrestling" tank top with a smile brimming ear-to-ear.
"Ya Knoo."
Vanessa Hudgens Back in the Ring - as Rumble Competitor?
This has everything to do with the upcoming installment of the Royal Rumble set to go down February 1, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. WWE fans, as well as those who support the actress, have already seen her make the rounds at numerous pro wrestling events. A huge supporter of the current storylines for both the men and women of the league, wouldn't it be something if Vanessa Hudgens put on her best wrestling garb and became the first female celebrity to get into the ring to rumble? Celebrities and athletes like Toby Keith, Johnny Knoxville, and William "The Refrigerator" Perry have taken part in the festivities in the past.
With a bid to a world title match at WrestleMania on the line, 30 male wrestlers will compete in the 2025 Royal Rumble in hopes of locking it down. Current wrestlers set to rumble include: LA Knight, John Cena, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio, Sami Zayn, and 21 other wrestlers soon to be announced.
On the women's side of things, Nia Jax and Bayley, the reigning Royal Rumble women's champ, are the only two who have declared for the 30 women competition.
Closing the festivities out will be a ladder match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens with the victor being anointed the undisputed WWE champion and holding both the championship and retired Winged Eagle WWE title belts. After recently doing "The Thing," it's clear which side Vanessa Hudgens is rooting for in that one.
