MLB superstars Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Teoscar Hernandez share camaraderie on and off the field. They were teammates for four years with the Toronto Blue Jays from 2019 to 2022 and share similar heritage as they belong to the Dominican Republic.
While Vladdy is still playing with the Blue Jays, Hernandez signed a three-year, $66 million deal with the Dodgers on January 3 after winning the World Series with them last year. The two highly athletic and explosive ballplayers started training together for the upcoming season of baseball.

Hernandez and Vladdy capped off an amazing 2024 with their respective ballclubs as they both earned an All-Star nod and also won the Silver Slugger award. Guerrero Jr. was also named on the All-MLB first team for the second time in his MLB career while Teoscar was named on the All-MLB second for the second time in his big league career.
Guerrero Jr. earned $19.9 million last year via salary arbitration while Hernandez had signed a one-year, $23.5 million with the LAD last season and ultimately extended his stay in Southern California by three more years this offseason.
Blue Jays 1B, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., finished the 2024 MLB season with a .323 batting average, 30 home runs, 103 RBIs, and .940 OPS. Dodgers OF, Teoscar Hernandez, finished one of the best seasons of his MLB career last year with a .272 batting average, 33 home runs, 99 RBIs, .840 OPS, and also won the MLB Home Run Derby during the All-Star break in July 2024.

While Vladdy's name is making the rounds in potential trade deals this offseason, Teoscar will be hoping to defend the Fall Classic crown alongside his mighty Dodgers teammates in 2025.
