McKenzie and Walker Buehler have known each other for a long time. They first met when they were in kindergarten and started to talk to each other in eighth grade.

“In the eighth grade, our class went to the mall, and McKenzie walked up to me and asked if I wanted to walk around with her," Walker Buehler told Inside Weddings.
“I was pretty shy at the time, and I remember thinking and admiring how confident she must have been to have done that. I was mesmerized."

Walker Buehler proposed to McKenzie in November 2020, and the couple tied the knot in December 2021. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Finley Wren Buehler, on Jan. 31, 2024.

McKenzie announced the birth through an Instagram post that included a picture of Finley with a caption that said:

"We welcomed Finley Wren Buehler to the world on 1.31.24 💕."

McKenzie Buehler celebrates Christmas with family, and Walker Buehler signs with the Boston Red Sox in free agency

A few days ago, Christmas celebrations were in full swing. The Buehlers were no exception to this as McKenzie Buehler shared her celebration with fans through an Instagram post that included black-and-white photos of her with her husband, Walker Buehler, and daughter, Finley.

"Merry Christmas, love the Buehlers!" McKenzie wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, Walker Buehler became a free agent as the 2024 season concluded. He recently signed a one-year deal worth $21.05 million with the Boston Red Sox, embracing a big change in his career.

After missing almost two months in the 2024 season and with an ERA of 5.84 in eight starts, it will be worth seeing how Buehler proves his worth to his new team and what he is capable of doing while making a comeback from his second Tommy John surgery within a short span of time.
