Walker Buehler and Chris Taylor are good friends on and off the field, and the same is true for their wives Mckenzie Buehler and Mary Keller Taylor. Walker and Chris were teammates with the LA Dodgers for eight years until Buehler signed a one-year, $21.05 million deal with the Red Sox this offseason.
On Sunday, Mckenzie took social media to share a heartfelt image alongside Mary Keller as they held their babies inside the Dodger Stadium. The caption on the image was a heartfelt wish for Taylor's wife on her 33rd birthday. Take a look at the snapshot here, which was captioned:
"Happy birthday to you @mktaylor808. I am so thankful to get to mommy with you!! Finley and I love you 😘 "
Walker Buehler and Chris Taylor played their respective roles of a starting pitcher and a utility player respectively to help the Dodgers claim the World Series last year. This was their second Fall Classic title together with the LAD.
Both their wives were in the stands throughout the postseason games and also accompanied their partners on the parade bus in Los Angeles.
Mckenzie and Mary Keller took to social media to share images from the celebrations in Los Angeles in November 2024.
"Parading!"
"Still on cloud 9 thinking about the past week and all the love and support we have felt here in LA! We love you guys!"
Chris Taylor's wife reacted to Walker Buehler's wife's farewell post to the city of LA
Mckenzie took to social media to pen down a heartfelt note for the city of LA and the Dodgers after Walker had signed a contract with Red Sox for the upcoming season of MLB. He spent seven seasons with the LAD. The caption on the post read:
"Thank you LA for being so amazing and welcoming to Walker and I! We’ve loved calling LA our second home and growing our family there 💙🤍 Stay tuned for our next chapter 😘 "
Mary reacted to the post with a heartfelt comment, which read:
"I love you!"
Now, once endearing teammates with LAD, Walker Buehler and Chris Taylor will face off against each other in inter league series as the Red Sox take on the Dodgers inside Fenway Park in July 2025 next season.
