New York Yankees' superstar Aaron Judge has been tearing it up this season. He has been vital to the Bronx Bombers holding the best record across the American League (52-31).

And it should come as no surprise that Judge will be heading to the All-Star Game this season. He received the most votes and will lead the American League while Bryce Harper got the most votes on the National League side.

As a top vote-getter, Judge has automatically been given a starting spot in the AL lineup. He finished Phase 1 of the voting with 3,425,309 votes.

Fans seem to be split on the news of Judge securing an All-Star game spot. While some are happy for the superstar, others are worried that he could hurt himself playing in the game:

"Was there ever a doubt???" one fan posted.
"No. Can't afford to have him get injured playing in that game," said another.
"I think you take these days off and rest," posted another.

Given the amount of injuries that have occurred this season, fans see the All-Star game as a big risk. if Aaron Judge goes down, it would be a real killer for the Yanks the rest of the way out:

"Of course.. when you're the best," said another fan.
"Well derserved!!" said another.
"Best player in baseball, no question," said another.

Other fans are not too concerned about a potential injury. They are just happy their captain is playing well and getting the recognition that he deserves.

While the Yankees have started to slump, Aaron Judge has not. The club has gone 1-4 in its last five games, while Judge has homered in three of those and is on pace to rival his historic 2022 season.

Through 80 games, the three-time Silver Slugger Award winner has a league-leading 30 home runs. He is just about halfway to tying the single-season home run record he set two seasons ago.

According to MLB.com, Judge is just the third player in MLB history to have at least 30 homers prior to the All-Star break three times. This goes to show just how elite of a hitter he is compared to all the other greats fans have seen throughout the years.
