Free agent third baseman Alex Bregman is enjoying the offseason with his wife Reagan and son Knox. While baseball fans wait to know his next destination, the Bregman family was busy cheering for their two horse runners at this year's Breeders' Cup organized at Del Mar, California, in late October.
Governor Sam in the Juvenile Turf Sprint and Totally Justified in the Juvenile Fillies Turf were the two runners of No Nay Mets, co-owned by Bregman Family Racing LLC and Swinbank Stables, LLC. Governor Sam finished third in the race.
Reagan took to social media on Tuesday, posting glimpses from the race track. She wore a turquoise line dress with a loose, flowy silhouette. The hemline was above the knee. She paired it with open-toed heels in a neutral shade and delicate jewelry, including a layered necklace.
"Until next year," she wrote.

Horseracing tradition in Alex Bregman's family
The horse racing tradition runs deep in the Bregman family, with the grandfathers taking their grandsons to local racetracks. Alex's father, Sam Bregman, a district attorney in Bernalillo County in New Mexico, attended such races with his grandfather in Maryland.
Alex Bregman also recalled trips to the Downs at Albuquerque with his grandfather.
“Those are my earliest memories,” Bregman said via DRF.
It was in 2021, when Alex Bregman attended a race with his father Sam that got him wanting to own a team one day.
“I said, I want to own a horse,” Bregman said.
Last year, the No Nay Mets finished fourth in the BC Juvenile Turf Sprint at Santa Anita.
“It was a good race and a lot of fun,” Bregman said. “We said, ‘We’ll get back here.’ We got very lucky and we have two amazing horses.”
Governor Sam, trained by George Weaver, won the maiden race at Saratoga adding to his impressive four wins in five starts from early August to early October.
“He doesn’t need the lead and he can get the lead if he wants it,” Bregman said of him.
Alex Bregman will be happy knowing a positive performance from Governor Sam in this year's Breeders Cup. His next of kin: Knox and his upcoming brother coming in 2025 have a tradition to continue.
