Former Yankees infielder Alex Rodriguez celebrated his 49th birthday by performing an impressive Dominican dance routine with his mother Lourdes aboard a magnificent yacht while setting sail in the Mediterranean Sea off the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
Watch the post by A-Rod showcasing his dance with his mother, Lourdes:
"I hope I’ll be dancing like my Mom when I’m 88. The Dominican moves never stop!"
"My mom still dancing at 88!"
Earlier, Alex Rodriguez shared a post on his Instagram account sharing beautiful images with his friends and family members as they all enjoyed the summer vibes along the beautiful Amalfi coastline in Italy. Rod was joined by his mother Lourdes, daughters Ella and Natasha, girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro, and some other peers. He captioned the post as:
"Officially 49! Feeling better than I ever have and so thankful to be healthy and surrounded by amazing family and friends. Life moves pretty quick, remember to pause and enjoy."
Having spent 22 seasons in the big leagues, Alex Rodriguez became a household name in the sport of baseball. He started his big-league career with the Seattle Mariners in 1994. After seven seasons at T-Mobile Park, he moved to the Texas Rangers, where he stayed until the 2003 season.
Soon after his short stint at Globe Life Field, he made his blockbuster move to the New York Yankees, where he stayed until his retirement in 2016. He is a 14-time All-Star and a three-time AL MVP, and he also won his maiden World Series title in 2009.
Since 2022, he has been in a relationship with fitness model and instructor Jaclyn Cordeiro, as the duo made their romantic relationship official during Christmas break in 2022. Talking about Jaclyn with the Post in April, Alex Rodriguez said:
"Everything’s been going good [with us]. Thank God. She’s been a good influence with me. I’ve been working hard and trying to stay in shape, and continuing to try to copy some of her great work ethic and health and wellness practices."
He further added:
"Just being consistent, which is what I’ve learned from her, has been very helpful. I used to eat steak probably eight out of 10 days, and now only one or two [days] out of 10 days. And then I do these 45-minute walks after dinner."
