Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa and his wife, Daniella, took a heartfelt step to support children battling cancer and their families. Through the Correa Family Foundation, the couple donated toys, gifts and more, spreading joy and delivering smiles to those who need it most.
The Correa family shared a video on their foundation’s Instagram, capturing the special moments they spent with children and their families. Kicking off the festive season in the most meaningful way, they aimed to bring joy to these little superheroes and make their Christmas a little special.
"We're so grateful to @lilystoybox, our supporters, and everyone who helped us continue our cherished holiday tradition of spreading joy to kids with cancer and their families," the caption read.
"This year, we delivered toys, gifts, and surprises, with a special meet-and-greet featuring @teamcjcorrea @daniellardzz, and astronaut @astro_berrios to make the day unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Your generosity brings hope and holiday magic to so many!"
The couple seemed quite excited to be the Santa Claus in the lives of these children.
"Hi, I am Daniela Correa and we are here with the Correa Family Foundation and Lily's Foundation. We're so excited to be able to be here and give all the kids all the toys that they want for Christmas," Daniella said.
Carlos Correa also shared his reasons for helping children going through difficult times:
"It means a lot to me, you know, growing up in Puerto Rico, I know what, you know, it could be like to not have anything, to be able to share a little bit of the things that we have here in this beautiful warehouse with the help of everybody supporting the foundation. It's truly unbelievable. Kids are leaving the door really happy with a big smile on their faces," Carlos said.
Carlos and his family founded the Correa Family Foundation in 2019. Since then, they've been helping children diagnosed with cancer in every way possible.
