After taking a 3-2 lead in their National League Championship Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers took on the New York Mets at Dodger Stadium on Sunday. The Dodgers were coming off a tough 12-6 defeat to the Mets in game five.

The Mets took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning, with Pete Alonso hitting an RBI single. However, Dodgers' Tommy Edman quickly responded by hitting a two-run double, allowing Shohei Ohtani and Teoscar Hernandez to score.

In the third inning, Edman showcased his power once again, launching a 406-foot home run, bringing in two more runs and giving the Dodgers a 4-1 lead.

Los Angeles was thrilled with Edman’s performance, including manager Dave Roberts, who was seen cheering enthusiastically after the big hit. Here's the clip of Roberts’ reaction:

Shortly after Tommy Edman’s big hit, Will Smith crushed a 416-foot homer, adding two more runs for the Dodgers. Mets' Mark Vientos responded in the fourth inning with a 401-foot two-run home run.

In the sixth inning, Shohei Ohtani hit an RBI single, pushing the score to 7-3. Francisco Alvarez’s sacrifice fly in the seventh inning brought in another run for the Mets. Dodgers’ Mookie Betts hit a double in the eighth inning, driving in a run.

Later in the inning, a sacrifice fly by Teoscar Hernández and an RBI single by Enrique Hernandez extended the Dodgers' lead to 10-4. The Mets couldn't catch up, managing just one more run on Jeff McNeil’s RBI single in the ninth to bow out.
