After the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched their eighth World Series title on Wednesday, their travelling fans in New York City continued their celebrations outside Yankee Stadium.

Coming off their first loss in the World Series against the New York Yankees in Game 4, the Dodgers fell behind 5-0 early in in Game 5 but managed a thrilling comeback to win 7-6 and seal the series.

Dodgers fans in the stadium were left exhilarated, celebrating the team's historic win deep into the New York night. A video of fans singing and dancing in the streets outside the stdium has gone viral on social media. Here's the video:

Since manager Dave Roberts took charge in 2016, the Dodgers have made the playoffs every year, making their fourth World Series appearance this year.

They started making headlines even before their season started after spending over a billion dollars to bolster their roster. Having added the likes of Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto ahead of the season, the pressure was high to deliver on the field.

And deliver they did. In a dominant regular season, Ohtani and the Dodgers broke records galore as they finished atop their MLB division. After brushing aside the San Diego Padres and the New York Mets in postseason, they made quick work of the New York Yankees in the World Series in five games.

It's a second World Series title in five years for LA, and their fans are thilled with their latest triumph. While City Hall has been lit blue to celebrate the victory, Dodgers fans in New York continued to party in the streets late into the night, a night they won't forget anytime soon.

After the Los Angeles Dodgers completed their historic World Series win over the New York Yankees, Dodgers fans in the stadium stayed behind to watch the team celebrate. W

hile many players interacted with fans during the celebrations, relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol started handing out dirt from the ballpark as a memorable keepsakefor fans.

Graterol came on in the sixth inning to relieve Alex Vesia and kept LA in the game. After walking Juan Soto and Aaron Judge, he gave up a run to Giancarlo Stanton on a sacrifice fly, while Jazz Chisholm Jr. grounded out. Apart from his performance on the night, fans who received the dirt from the gournd will be forever grateful to Graterol.
