Third baseman Manny Machado was the center of attention as tensions ran high in NLDS Game 2 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres on Sunday.
The game saw Dodgers fans throwing objects on the field to Jurickson Profar. And then, of course, there was the intense at-bat between Machado and Jack Flaherty, which ended with Flaherty getting the better of the Padres slugger.
However, while the Padres were gaining sympathy, the latest video of Machado has again put them in the crosshairs. The hot corner specialist, who's touted as the group leader, was seen throwing a ball to the Dodgers dugout before the start of the game.

Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez, who was just coming to the stairs, retaliated against Manny Machado. Here's the video:
Dave Roberts on "unsettling" incident of Manny Machado throwing ball to Dodgers dugout
Manny Machado, who earlier played with the Dodgers, has been in the crosshairs for multiple reasons, be it standing up for his teammates Profar or doing strange things on the field.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, who hadn't noticed the throw initially, said on Monday that he watched the video and felt it was "unsettling" and "disrespectful" coming from someone who had a good past with him.
"It was unsettling," Roberts told reporters on Monday. "Obviously I have a relationship with Manny from years past. There was intent behind it. It didn't almost hit me because there was a net. And that was very bothersome.
"If it was intended at me, I would be very -- it's pretty disrespectful. So, I don't know his intent. I don't want to speak for him. But I did see the video. And the ball was directed at me with something behind it. But I don't know what led to that."
According to ESPN, the footage is under examination, but sources say a punishment is unlikely, as Machado's intent seemed unclear.
The ongoing series was anticipated to be a fiery one but few thought it would turn ugly so early. It's tied 1-1 heading to Petco Park, where the tables could turn, as the Dodgers now likely face a hostile reception.
