New York Mets star Francisco Lindor launched more than a few bombs as part of a charity game in his native Puerto Rico. The game featured MLB and local stars as part of a fundraiser for local organizations. Lindor was joined by Kike Hernandez, who won the World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers this past season.
The duo showed off their skills in a packed Roberto Clemente field. The proceeds went to the two organizations supported by Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Jose Berrios and Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez.
The charity event drew a big crowd, as fans in attendance were hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars. While the sluggers dazzled fans with their hitting, not every pitch was a home run. Unfortunately for Lindor and Hernandez, they fanned on a pitch or two.
