Ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers' second game of their series against the Colorado Rockies, a few Dodgers players participated in a fun activity on Saturday. All-Star slugger Mookie Betts, starter Walker Buehler and relief pitcher Blake Treinen embraced what it feels like to be a firefighter.
The Dodgers trio participated in a challenge to see who could put on the firefighter's uniform first. Although Treinen struggled to put on the pants initially, the veteran reliever was the fastest to wear the full uniform. He celebrated his victory with push-ups in front of Betts and Buehler.
While Betts enjoyed the activity, he said that he wasn't cut out for the job.

"It was great. It was heavy though," Metts said about the uniform challenge. "I'm ready to take this off. I'm not cut out to be a firefighter, guys."

Dodgers fall to the Rockies despite Mookie Betts' home run
The Dodgers' National League West lead over the San Diego Padres was cut down to three games after a 6-3 loss to the Rockies on Saturday. Starter Walker Buehler struggled initially, giving up three runs in his first two innings to give the visitors a 3-0 lead.
Mookie Betts' two-run homer off Rockies starter Cal Quantrill in the third cut the lead to one run. Buehler also found his groove after the first two innings, pitching 5.1 innings with a season-high nine strikeouts, giving up four runs on five hits.
While Buehler's strong fightback kept the Dodgers in the game heading into the ninth inning, trailing 4-3, the Dodgers bullpen failed to restrict the Rockies. Veteran Dodgers reliever Daniel Hudson conceded a two-run homer to Charlie Balckmon in the top of the ninth as the Rockies claimed a 6-3 win to tie the three-game series.
Although the Dodgers punched their ticket to the postseason earlier this week, they need to win five more games to claim the division, with the Padres hot on their trail in search of a playoff spot.
