Paul Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, has finally broken silence on her future as a collegiate athlete. She has committed for a fifth year with the Tigers gymnastics team and made the announcement via an Instagram post on Monday.
In the video, Livvy comes in front of the camera, opens a piece of paper to read a message as follows:
"Alright here we go. Dear LSU, these past four years have changed my life. There's something about putting on a purple and gold leotard. There's something about competing in front of 13,000 screaming Tiger fans. There's something about being pushed by your coaches to be your very best.
"And there's something about being part of a team that made school history. And no matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat there's just something about LSU. And that's why I am here to say I am not Dunne yet. Here's to year five baby."

Olivia Dunne helped the Tigers claim their maiden NCAA gymnastics championship in April. She has now agreed to stay and compete another year with LSU. Dunne is the highest-earning collegiate athlete via NIL deals, and her extended commitment will only bring more brand value and partners for LSU.
She has been busy this summer, shooting for commercials and increasing her brand value further. But most importantly, she has cheered for Paul Skenes through all his starts in the MLB.
Skenes made his big league debut with the Pirates in May. Since then, he has steamrolled his way through opponents' offenses during all his starts on the mound.
Boasting an impressive record of 5-0 through his first 10 starts of the season, Paul has been a force to be reckoned with in the big leagues. He has an ERA of 2.12 with 78 strikeouts and a decent WHIP rate of 1.01.
Paul Skenes created history, becoming the only MLB player to receive an All-Star nod in his rookie season of baseball after the announcement came on Sunday.
Olivia Dunne celebrated Paul Skenes' All-Star selection
Olivia Dunne posted a couple of stories on Sunday soon after the announcement that Paul Skenes was going to be a part of the Midsummer Classic this season in Arlington, Texas. She captioned her story:
"He's an All Star! @paulskenes."
Before heading for the All-Star break, Skenes will make one last start against the Brewers in the regular season on Wednesday.
