The Dodgers All-Stars—including Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Teoscar Hernández, Will Smith and Tyler Glasnow—made their way to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas for the Midsummer Classic. While Ohtani and Hernández are set to start the All-Star game on Tuesday, Freeman and Smith will be on the bench as reserves.
In a video filmed inside the ballpark, the five players were asked to reveal the funniest Dodgers teammate in the group chat.
First off, designated hitter and ASG starter Ohtani said:
"Kike [Hernandez]. He's always, always a funny guy."
Next, first baseman Freeman went with a "shocking" pick:
"The funniest? People are going to be shocked at this. I am going to go with Daniel Hudson. He is very dry and very, he throws one-liners out there. Yeah. Sneaky, Sneaky funny, Daniel Hudson."
Catcher Will Smith then took center stage as he replied:
"Funniest in the team group chat? Probably Miggy. Miggy Ro [Miguel Rojas]. Why? He's just a funny guy."
Hernández, the 2024 MLB Home Run Derby champion, had two answers:
"There's two. I am going to say Miggy and Kike. They always, you know, try to make everybody feel good, make everybody feel comfortable and, you know, to have a good time."
Lastly, it was ace starting pitcher Glasnow's turn to respond:
"Kike [Hernandez] probably, just because he will say whatever and he is just a funny dude. Yeah probably Kike. And Miggy [Rojas] too is really funny."

For the fifth year in a row, the Dodgers are sending at least five All-Stars to the Midsummer Classic
The Dodgers have sent at least five All-Stars to the Midsummer Classic for a fifth year in a row. Only the Philadelphia Phillies had more All-Star selections (7) this year.
All eyes will be on Ohtani (DH) and Hernández (OF), who were named in the starting lineup of the National League for Tuesday's game. Smith, Freeman and Mookie Betts will be present as reserves, although Betts might not play any part in the game due to a left hand fracture. Meanwhile, while Glasnow is out with a back tightness injury.
