Trevor Bauer shared a video on social media teaching one of his Diablos Rojos del Mexico teammates how to throw his infamous curveball. The former LA Dodgers pitcher 33-year-old had an impressive season with the LMB side as he helped them to a record-extending 17th league title.
Bauer's performance for the Pandilla Escarlata saw him being adjudged the Mexican League's Pitcher of the Year. He recently gave one of his teammates in Diablos Rojos del Mexico a tutorial on how to throw his effective curveball.
A video of the same was shared and the 33-year-old could be heard giving some important pointers to his fellow pitching teammate as he said:
"Get your pointer finger out of the way. Your pointer finger is too active on that pitch. You want your middle-finger, so just get this thing whether you spike it or put it up get out of the way."
Towards the end of the video, Trevor Bauer even appreciated some of the pitches that his teammate threw during the training session.

Bauer won the 2020 NL Cy-Young Award with the Reds, and the next season secured a three-year $102 million contract by the reigning World Series champions, the LA Dodgers.
His gametime in the 2021 season was cut short in July after the MLB opened an investigation against him, and he was immediately put on administrative leave. Things turned worse as he was handed a hefty suspension, which resulted in the Dodgers parting ways with him prematurely in January 2023.
Now without having played a game in almost two years, Trevor Bauer decided to take his talents elsewhere and ended up signing a one-year deal with the Yokohama DeNa BayStars in the NPB for the 2023 season and then moved to Mexico to play with Rojos del Mexico for the 2024 season.
He achieved many personal milestones and collective milestones in the past two seasons. It remains to be seen what the future holds in store for the RHP, but he is surely enjoying his renewed life in baseball as he is kindly devoting his talents to nurture and help the sport grow further.
Trevor Bauer promoted baseball amongst budding ballplayers in Europe
Trevor Bauer teamed up with baseball jobs overseas to pitch against some European batters in a live at-bat exhibition in London, England. He faced a total of 15 hitters from nine different countries and even chatted with the talent that was in store in Europe.
Furthermore, towards the end of the successful event to promote the sport in Europe, Bauer even played catch with the kids who were spectating the live AB, signed autographs for his fans, and clicked pictures with all of them.
During the 2024 Mexican League, the 33-year-old set a new LMB record for most strikeouts, 19, during the Diablos' 6-1 win over Guerreros de Oaxaca. He finished the season with a total of 120 strikeouts from 83-and-a-third innings.
