At this point in his career, Trevor Bauer might be better known for his social media presence than actually pitching.

The former Cy Young Award winner has not pitched in the MLB since 2021 as a result of serious allegations made against him. However, after being cleared of any criminal wrongdoing, his social media followers have grown steadily.

He gained a following for giving an inside look into his season with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico last year. Trevor Bauer has made a name for himself on social media by combining baseball and eye-catching games and challenges that connect with the younger generation.

This is the case yet again as the former Los Angeles Dodgers star teamed up with baseball social media sensation Eric Sim, known better as the 'King of Juco.' In his latest post, Bauer teased an epic showdown between the two, based on the hit gameshow "Deal or No Deal."

"If you win, this will be your prize. I will be your personal assistant for 24 hours for a day," Bauer explained as one of the stipulations of the competition.

In the video, Trevor Bauer explained that he and Sim will take part in 10 different at-bats. The winner of each at-bat will be allowed to pick a briefcase, "Deal or No Deal" style, until they get to the final case.

The former Cincinnati Reds ace explained that if he wins, the King of Juco's prize will be in one of the cases, good or bad.

Thanks to these types of challenges, Trevor Bauer has seen his following on social media shoot up. While it remains to be seen how the at-bats between Bauer and Eric Sim played out, it will certainly draw plenty of eyes to the video when the whole thing drops.

Trevor Bauer recently attempted to record strikeouts with various fruit and vegetables

This is not the first time that Trevor Bauer has used this platform to test his pitching skills for content. The former All-Star created a series of videos showcasing him using various grocery store items such as cucumbers, limes and potatoes in order to rack up a strikeout.

It goes without saying that some vegetables and fruits are better than others when it comes to throwing at top speed. While the cucumbers snapped in half, the potatoes and limes proved to be decent replacements for baseballs. Given the nature of his videos, who knows where he will take it next time?
